The client, representing Yu Shuxin's fan base, sought to create custom fan merchandise to bolster celebrity support and enhance fan engagement at an upcoming event. Their objective was to provide high-quality, memorable apparel that accurately reflected the artist's brand and resonated with fans, all under a highly compressed timeline. This project underscored the importance of reliable manufacturing partners who can deliver precision and volume for time-sensitive, high-profile events.

The primary goal was to ensure the timely delivery of all custom T-shirts – both the bulk fan merchandise and the special artist-exclusive pieces – for the critical fan event. This included maintaining impeccable quality standards for both fabric and print, despite the highly compressed production schedule. The client also aimed to receive competitive pricing that encompassed all logistical costs, reinforcing the need for an efficient and cost-effective manufacturing solution. Ultimately, the success of the T-shirts was directly linked to maximizing event impact and strengthening the connection between the celebrity and her fans.
Challenges
Overcoming Complexities in Urgent Production
Gahumi faced multiple hurdles during this project. The initial sample request was extremely urgent, requiring multiple fabric and print options to be developed and dispatched within two days. The overall production timeline was drastically reduced from 45 to just 10 days, while still necessitating full quality inspection and accommodating a fixed unit price that included commission, tax, and shipping. Critical issues arose with design files, as the client's new designer provided inconsistent and improperly prepared artwork, leading to significant delays in proofing. Additionally, last-minute requests included an increase in order quantity post-production commencement, a mandatory 'invoice first, then payment' process, and a lost final print approval sheet, making color matching for two distinct fabric types (white and black) particularly difficult without a proper benchmark. Each of these elements individually presented a significant risk to the project's tight deadlines and profitability.

Gahumi implemented a multi-faceted approach to overcome the project's challenges. Leveraging a strong relationship with the client, we proactively identified the order's potential, allowing internal teams to reserve necessary fabric within 1-2 days and pre-book production line time. Our experienced merchandising and supply chain teams, building on prior successful collaborations, ensured smooth coordination and high cooperation throughout the process. This foundational support was critical in managing the accelerated timeline.
Furthermore, Gahumi maintained open and precise communication channels, reporting every detail and progress update. This transparency fostered quick understanding and cooperation from the client, even when issues like a quantity increase arose. Timely escalation of the increased order allowed internal coordination, securing additional production days to accommodate the change without compromising the final delivery schedule. These strategic interventions ensured that, despite the numerous obstacles, the project progressed efficiently and effectively.

Gahumi successfully completed and delivered all 20,000 custom T-shirts within the critical 14-day timeline, ensuring they arrived in time for the highly anticipated fan event. The order included two different fabrics, two colors, and two distinct designs, all produced to the client's stringent quality standards. Additionally, 15 bespoke T-shirts, crafted from superior quality fabric and tailored specifically for the artist, were completed and dispatched within just 5 days. Rich Fabric Library: Build a fabric display area to synchronously showcase a variety of fabrics such as all - cotton, polyester - cotton, modal, and bamboo fiber both online and offline. Each fabric is meticulously labeled with parameters including composition, weight per square meter, hand feel, breathability, and sweat - absorption. Fabric swatches are provided for customers to touch, feel, and test.
Diverse Printing Techniques: Offer printing techniques such as screen printing, direct - to - garment (DTG) printing, and heat transfer printing.

Full - process Quality Inspection: Set up multiple quality inspection checkpoints in links such as fabric warehousing, cutting, printing, sewing, and finished - product inspection. Before fabric warehousing, test indicators such as color fastness and shrinkage rate. During the production process, inspection personnel conduct random spot checks at any time to promptly identify and solve problems. When inspecting finished products, strictly check according to the AQL sampling standard to ensure that the defective rate is controlled within 1%.
